Refund & Return Policy

We want you to feel confident when shopping with us. Please read our return and refund policy carefully, as different conditions apply depending on the type of product.
1. Right of Withdrawal (Returns)
In accordance with applicable consumer laws, you generally have the right to return most items within 14 days of receiving your order.
To exercise your right of withdrawal:
- You must notify us within 14 days of receiving the item
- The product must be returned within 14 days after notification
- The item must be unused, in original condition, and in its original packaging with labels

2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- Special order / custom-made products
- Items made specifically to your request (e.g. custom finishes, made-to-order items)
- Discounted Products/ Final sale
- Certain furniture items (as specified in product descriptions)
If a custom-made or special order item is not collected, a non-refundable fee of 30% of the product value will be charged.
3. Furniture and Vintage Items
Our furniture and vintage items are often unique and pre-owned, and may show signs of patina and natural wear.
Please note:
- These characteristics are not considered defects
- Proper care is required (avoid heat, dryness, humidity, and direct sunlight)
- We are not responsible for damage occurring after 14 days due to environmental conditions or handling
4. Return Shipping
- The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs
- Return shipping costs are not the same as the original shipping cost
- Items must be returned well-packaged, especially furniture (preferably on the original pallet)
If returned items are damaged during return shipping, we cannot issue a refund
5. Refunds
Once your return is received and approved:
- You will receive a refund for the item value only
- Shipping costs and fees will be deducted
- Refunds are processed using the original payment method
If the returned item is not in its original condition, a refund may be denied.
7. Uncollected Orders
If an order is not collected from the delivery point:
- Return shipping costs will be charged to the customer
- Additional fees may apply as outlined in our Shipping Policy
8. Returns in Store
You may return your item free of charge by delivering it directly to our warehouse in Byske.

9. Complaints and Faulty Products
We carefully inspect all items before shipment. If you receive a faulty product:
- Contact us at info@nicoleslantgard.com
- Provide a receipt or proof of purchase
- Include a description and clear photos of the issue
Complaints caused by wear, misuse, or improper handling will not be accepted.
If your complaint is approved, we will:
- Replace the item (if possible), or
- Issue a refund
10. Transport Damage
It is very important to check your goods upon delivery.
- Visible damage must be reported to the carrier immediately upon delivery
- Hidden damage must be reported within 7 days
To report damage:

- Include photos of:
- The packaging
- The damaged item
Claims submitted after 7 days cannot be accepted.
11. International Returns
- International customers may return items within 14 days
- Return shipping costs are fully the responsibility of the customer
- Refunds will be issued excluding original shipping costs
12. Important Information
- Items must be returned in the same condition as received
- Refunds cannot be issued for damaged or used items
- We recommend insuring return shipments
